To practice my english and to be in touch with the world of soccer I downloaded and application in my phone. This application gives me soccer information of the World Cup. And what was happening in the transfers in the most important leagues in Europe, including Spain, Italy, and England as well as the Champions League that covered most of Europe. I used Goal.com in my phone throughout the summer.

Week 7
My family and I traveled to the United States it is almost the end of the summer. We went to Orlando but first had to rent a car in Miami. I used English in the stores, theme parks and asking directions most of the time. I also communicated with people from other countries in english, because many of the people you encounter now the language. This photo is outside the Hard Rock Cafe in Universal Studios.
Week 6
I also went to watch Shrek 3 with my family. This movie is all about Shrek trying to live how he did before. He wanted people to be afraid of him how they are from other oger. He meets a wizard that gives him one day of being a ogre for one day of his past life. Shrek accepts it, but didn´t know what was about to pass. The wizard changed Shrek life and took over the kingdom Shrek and his wife Fiona possesed. Shrek struggles throught the movie to go back to a normal life. The only way to break the wizards dictamen is by kissing your true love. Shrek finds Fiona and got her to love him and in that way restore how everything used to be.
Week 5
During this week my family and I went to see at te movies Toy Story 3. It is a really nice movie that I have been watching since little. Starting with the first two movies of this series. It is a disney movie that came out this summer. I did not really wanted to go but finally did. Obviously we wathched it in english audio. This movie is about a group of toys that have not been used for a long time, they were not used to this because they used to be used all the time. They always tried to take attention from their owner Andy. The fact is Andy was ready to go to college, only taking Woody his favorite cowboy. Buzz Lightyear and all the other toys were left on a box that had to be put in the attic. Unfortunately Andy´s mom took them and donated them to a nursery. Woody went with them because he did not want them to loose them. The movie is about them trying to go out of there and going back to Andy´s house. They succeed but Andy decided to give them all away to a little girl that would take good care of them.
Week 4
We returned to Honduras during this week. It was difficult to have fun because many people were still on vacations and we had nothing to do. Because of the summer homework I desired to read a book as my experience for this week. I read the book The Power Broker it is a book written by Stephen Frey. This book is about a succesfull businessman callled Christian Gillette, who is trying to open a new casino and NFL franchise in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unfortunately for him the mob complicated his license for the casino and a NFL franchise, he would have to pay a lot of money if he wants to open his new business. At the same time Christian is offered to be part of Jesse Ford's campaign to be the next president, Christian was offered to be vice- president. Christian is also offered to be part of a secret organization that had manipulated American history. Later throughout the book Christian realizes he is the target of many people. He by intelligence defeats all against him. He opens his new NFL franchise in Las Vegas, and kills the texan that wanted him to get involved in the secret organization. Unfortunately it was not Jesse's desire to Christian as vice - president he was instructed to do so. I was very surprised by how the author can write a very intriguing book with many different problems that are solved in a way that the reality of this book is not put in doubt. I am also fascinated about how the author that wrote this book already thaught about the first black president (Jesse Ford), when in 2006 nobody thaught about it.

Week 3
My family and I traveled to Italy. During our stay in Italy we traveled to three different cities which were Venice, Fiorenze and Rome. All of the cities have very beautiful historical attractions which we visited. Most of the tourism from Italy comes from the United States so people from Italy are prepared to communicate in english. During our stay all of our conversations with people there were in English, that helped me stay in touch with the english language.
Week 2
As I mentioned before the week after we stayed at Miami, we went to Europe we visited many different places and enjoyed it a lot. We were at Spain were we visited the Barcelona stadium "Camp Nou". We also visited the "Sagrada Familia", which is a church that is being built for as long as three generations. Barcelona beongs to Catalunya, which is a region in Spain that desires to be independent from Spain. In Barcelona people talk the language of catalan, many of the people reject the spanish because of their desire to be independent. The publicity in Barcelona was mostly catalan, but sometimes was English; never in spanish. Because some of the people did not know spanish we communicated in English.

One week after school ended my family and started the trip that would end in Europe. Before traveling to Europe we stopped at the of Miami, Florida. Even though Miami is highly influenced by latin people, I had to communicate many times in english. We were guests of the Real Intercontinental Hotel in West Miami. In the hotel many of the conversations with the employees were in english. In that way I practiced my english towards the next school year.
